Have you navigated hyperthyroidism or kidney disease with your cat? We’re working closely with her vet to ensure the right combination of treatment and lifestyle changes but are open to hearing your tips and hopefully we can share some to educate others experiencing the same thing. #cat #catlover #seniorcat
I took the second photo the first time I met Ginny—Boxing Day 2020. We were in the middle of lockdown and my father in-law had asked us to go check on a cat who’s owner had been in the hospital for a few weeks. A neighbour had gone to feed her and clean the litter but wasn’t able to give her much attention because she was severely allergic. Keep in mind we were in complete COVID lockdown—our city had a curfew at the time. But we went that night, because the situation seemed dire and it was the holidays so it seemed like the right thing to do. When I met Ginny she was the sweetest, most loving cat I had ever met. You could tell she so desperately wanted love—she had clearly been loved by someone—but she was also lonely and shy. Ginny lived like that for a while longer, until we were able to adopt her and bring her home in April 2021. Ginny blossomed in our home. After sharing her on social media, a friend convinced me to start a TikTok account for her in November 2021 and the rest was history. #originstory #cat #fyp #therewasatime #cute #rescuecat
