Cracked glass art. A recent commission I was hired to make as a gift for a client’s partner. While I don’t tend to share all the personal commissions I’ve worked on, I’ve been fortunate to complete so many this year. Each one has been a valuable learning experience. Creating a personal portrait in cracked glass requires a lot of skill —there’s no room for mistakes, so I have to be confident in capturing the perfect likeness. Thankfully, I’ve honed my skills over time and now feel truly at ease bringing almost anything to life in cracked glass. #artist #art #artistsoftiktok #arttok
Cracked glass portrait from my latest limited edition series. This piece is called Aurora. I love this design. Working with cracked glass to create shading and tones is incredibly challenging, especially when trying to convey the impression of a face emerging from darkness into light. I feel like I’ve truly grown in my skills and managed to capture the powerful, mysterious look I envisioned for this piece. I can now shade with cracked glass to such a refined level, making it possible to create almost anything in glass. For all my cracked glass artworks, the process always begins with an original drawing from scratch—using white charcoal on black paper — and afterwards fine-tuning the design before finally sculpting it into cracked glass. All pieces in this limited edition sold out on the first day. A huge thank you to everyone on my mailing list for your support! If you’d like to be one of the first to be notified about new releases, you can join my mailing list through the link in my bio. Currently working on my next limited edition of glass art. #artist #art
This was quite a polarising piece last time I posted it. I thought I would bring it back again for halloween season. I was asked by a client to make a scary demon creature in cracked glass. Lots of people really disliked it and lots of people really loved it! There was no in-between. I personally really liked experimenting with something different.
