#PretendCookingShow: Farm Biscuits. My favorite Aunt Janet makes my favorite biscuits on my favorite farm. So I asked for her secrets to share with you. Here you go, from our Oklahoma family farm to your breakfast table Thanks, Janet and Robert ♥️👩🏻🌾 🚜 Farm Biscuits Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1 Tbsp baking powder ¾ tsp salt ¼ cup canola oil 1 cup buttermilk . Directions: 1. Combine dry ingredients and make a well in the center of the mix. Pour oil and buttermilk into the well and gently mix together. I like my biscuit dough wet, so if the dough is too stiff and dry, add buttermilk a little at a time until you are happy with the consistency. 2. Pour batter out onto a floured surface and cover lightly with additional flour. Gently work the dough until fully combined. Roll and cut out/pinch and pull the dough to shape your biscuits and place into a lightly buttered or oiled baking dish. This recipe makes up to 12 biscuits. 3. Bake at 400℉ in a preheated oven until golden brown. Or, if you’re brave, smoke them on the grill like Uncle Robert! 4. Yum!
What better way to welcome the @Once Upon a Farm team to our company retreat celebrating 10 years of O’Farm than members of the incredible @UC Irvine Anteater Band marching band. (*errant* 🎷 honks provided by yours truly. 🙋🏻♀️)
