The loaded fries from my dreams !! Recipe below :) #chosenfoodspartner @Chosen Foods Ingredients: -Sirloin steak -2-4 russets potatoes (depending on how many fries you want) -Garlic aoili: Chosen Foods avocado oil mayo, grated garlic, lemon, salt, pepper -cheese sauce: 1tbsp flour, 1tbsp butter, 1 cup milk, 1 cup shredded white cheddar, 1/3cup grated Parmesan, grated garlic, salt -side salad: mixed greens, shallots, quartered cherry tomatoes, lemon honey vinaigrette -lemon honey vinaigrette: lemon juice, Chosen Foods avocado oil, dijon mustard, honey, salt **Optional toppings: parmesan, pepper, green onions, jalapeños Recipe: -cut potatoes into even strips. Soak in ice water for at least 30 minutes. Dry completely and heat Chosen Foods avocado oil to 325F. Add fries until soften and slightly golden (5ish min), remove. Let fries fully cool. Heat oil to 375F. Add the fries back until a deep golden (5-7min), remove and top with parmesan and salt. **do this in batches! Don’t overcrowd the pot. -cook the seasoned steak to your liking :) -cheese sauce: on med heat add butter and flour. Whisk continuously until it starts to brown. Slowly add milk and continue whisking. Turn off heat and whisk in grated garlic, and the shredded cheese. taste and adjust salt, and garlic amounts -garlic aoili: measure with your heart!! Start with 1/3cup mayo, 1/2 lemon juice, and 1 garlic clove. Go from there, I believe in you! -vinaigrette: add ingredients to a jar and shake well! Toss with salad ingredients -lay out fries, top with cheese sauce, then steak and garlic aoili. I added parmesan, green onions and pepper to the top!! Put the salad on the side to be healthy…. funky stir fry ft red glasses 🕺🏻 Ingredients: -flank steak -broccolini -red bell pepper -white onion -carrot -avocado oil -white rice -sauce: soy sauce, rice vinegar, water, honey, grated garlic cloves, grated ginger, red chili flakes, corn starch Recipe: -chop veggies to your liking :) -mix together sauce ingredients. I measured with my heart but did about equal parts soy sauce and water, 3 garlic cloves, good amount of ginger, 1-2tbsp rice vinegar, and honey to taste, dash of chili flakes, 1tbsp ish corn starch…. I believe in you !!! -add oil to a pan on med heat. Add veggies, season with salt and cook until tender and starts to get some color (5ish min). Remove from pan -add steak and cook for 1-2min each side add veggies back and cover with toss. Toss until everything is fully coated and sauce is shiny *fish eye clips filmed on my @gopro hero 13 using max lens!
Candied pecans!! Recipe below :) These nuts are making me crazzzyyy Ingredients: -2 cups pecans -1/4cup brown sugar -1 1/2tsp cinnamon -1/2tsp vanilla extract (or more loll) -1/2tsp salt -dash of nutmeg and black pepper -1 1/2tbsp water Recipe: -in a cold pan add all the ingredients (besides the pecans). Turn heat slightly below medium. Stir everything together until melted and it starts to become frothy (1-2minutes) -add pecans and mix until fully coated, shiny, and have a nutty smell. 3-5 minutes. The liquid will also be significantly reduced, this is when I remove them! Be careful not to burn them! -add to a nonstick surface (parchment paper or silicone mat). Let cool and taste -if you want them to be harder in the outside put them in the oven at 325F for 5-10 min. (I usually do 8 minutes and it’s perfect!!) The outsides will get bubbly and harden as it cools -wait to eat until fully cooled. Store in airtight container for 1 week :) *recipe adapted from Inspired Taste !!
