It also slows your protein synthesis down by about 30% or more which also lasts 24 to 36 hours. But why? Alcohol is a toxin so the second it enters your system your body has to process it immediately. Therefore, it does not have time to process the food you eat before, during, and after the time you’re drinking alcohol. It also disrupts your hormones and your sleep horribly, and you’re over 40 hello hangover. 🤪😵💫🥴 It also empty calories, and impairs your digestion. The big one though. So here are some tips that will help you along your way… ➡️ Address your nutrition first, it is 80% diet to see results, and you cannot outrun your fork. Lol. 🤪 ➡️ strength training is key to longevity. Muscle is not just for aesthetics, it’s also very metabolic & very good for your health. Drop the word out if you want a guide on how much to work out to see results. Did you know you lose 8% of your muscle every decade over the age of 40 until you get to 70 and then 15%? Yeah, that’s why you see grandma & grandpa walking around hunched over because they’ve lost so much muscle naturally. 🥺 But nowadays, this can be prevented with eating enough protein, strength training and… ➡️ BHRT is extremely helpful as we get older. All of your hormone levels drop over the age of 40 quite a bit & we’re left with a ton of symptoms nobody wants.
