Didn’t think watching water dig its way to the ocean would be this satisfying, but here we are.

The creek was so full all it took was a few fingers to get it going! Today was a national holiday so it was extra busy on the beach. Hopefully the people the crossed it can get back alright. Kinda crazy to think that small shovel transformed the beach. Not to worry though. The beach will be back to normal over night. Don’t believe us. Stay tuned for tomorrow!

We were helping guide it, creating a path so the water wouldn’t back up and flood the nearby homes or spill into the parking lot. But as soon as it connected with the ocean, everything changed. The flow picked up fast. The sand couldn’t hold it back anymore, and suddenly the whole beach opened up. Massive channels formed, water surged forward, and for a minute, it looked like we’d totally torn the place apart. But here’s the twist it was exactly what the beach needed.
