Since then, I’ve been tested like no man before me. I was forced to walk away from what I loved more than anything in the world. “Feed Me More” was never just a catchphrase. Never a gimmick. It’s me. It’s who I am. It’s what I live by. Being hungry is about staying grateful for every moment—but always striving for more. More growth. More strength. More truth. More peace. Everyone who’s followed my journey knows—I’ve always spoken the truth. But what I’ve learned is that healing takes time. And depending on how deep the pain is, how personal the battle is—some things take a lot longer to truly move on from. Years ago, during the Ryback trademark case, WWE reached out to take steps toward repairing the relationship. At that time, I had zero interest—not out of spite—but because I wasn’t healed yet. I still carried too much. Too much pain, frustration, and truth that needed to be processed. But over the last year, through daily positive affirmations, deep meditation, and doing the inner work… I found peace. Not to go back. Not to rekindle anything. Just peace for myself. To be okay with the past, and let go of needing to be “right.” Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It means being free. Free to move forward on your own terms. I know my truth. Those who need to know it, know it. And I’ve realized—I don’t need to explain it anymore. The fans sometimes struggle more than we do to let go of the past. But I’ve reached a place where they can think what they want. I’ve already made peace. I’m grateful. I’m stronger. And I will be the first human being to fully recover from being told I needed a 5-disc fusion and a full right shoulder replacement. No surgery. Just belief, work, and time. This is my journey. Just to clarify—this is an old interview, not recent. This video was recorded around 2019, and it’s starting to make the rounds again like it just happened. It’s not new. It’s over six years old. I’ve always given my honest opinion—good, bad, or uncomfortable. But the truth is, I’m in a great place now. I’m grateful for everything I’ve experienced, and I own my story—every chapter of it. The past is the past. It can’t be changed. It doesn’t matter who’s right or wrong—what happened, happened. It’s been nine years since I left WWE, and I’ve grown more than most people will ever understand. Back then, I sometimes made posts in-character to spark wrestling reactions. But once my shoulder injury became serious—and the reality of possibly not returning sank in—I stopped chasing that “payoff.” Health is everything, and I’ve chosen to live a happy, healthy life with peace of mind. I also learned something important about doing interviews… Interviewers often bring up things you’ve moved on from—just to get clicks. They’ll push topics you’d never choose to speak on again, hoping you’ll say something headline-worthy. I’ve realized that giving opinions on things that no longer serve your life or purpose just pulls you backward, not forward. That’s why I stopped doing interviews. I’m focused on now, on health, happiness, and building something real for the future. I’ve learned the hard way: holding onto hate—whether you’re right or wrong—only hurts you. And the only thing that truly heals that… is time. There’s still a chance a miracle happens. And if it does, I’ll be ready. But if not, I’m still winning. This interview is old.
