‼️TW: mental health/ weight loss‼️ 2024 has been a year of highs and lows for me. At the start of the year, I faced depression for the first time. I felt constantly drained, my confidence hit rock bottom, and I wasn’t taking care of my body. Despite losing some weight, I’ve always believed that the number on the scale doesn’t define who you are. I set a personal goal this year: to prioritize my health—both physically and mentally. In November, I decided to take up running, and it’s been a game-changer. One of my big goals for 2025 is to complete a half marathon. Since I started running, my relationship with food has improved significantly. I’ve learned that fueling my body is essential—not something to fear. If someone had told me in January that by the end of the year I’d embrace food as fuel and develop a healthier mindset because of running, I would’ve laughed. Yet here I am—stronger, healthier, and more determined than ever to keep moving forward. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out for help🩷
