Explore the Ozone shipwreck with me 🚢 Built near Glasgow, Ozone was 260ft in length, 28ft in width. Involved in 3 major incidents in her time, Ozone was chosen to be laid to rest, her hulk to be used as a break water. Now, beneath the surface, she’s home to many species of ray, octopus, fish and sea horses. (Above the surface, kids use her as a climbing platform and dive board; we explored the wreck during a heat wave with lots of kiddos splashing around; hence the lack of critters around.)
This morning, the Geelong Advertiser posted a cover story of the Golden Plains Mayor, Sarah Hayden, taking a holiday in Vegas. That’s it. That’s the headline. But journalism and society is so anti woman, that a woman going on holiday was enough of a reason for a two page cover story, fuelled with false implications, malicious intentions and twisting guiltless situations to suit their narrative, even going as far as to use the death of a child to further push their agenda. This shit never happens when it’s a man. Geelong Advertiser and the young woman that wrote this, Chelsea Bunting, you are disgraces for journalism. Let this be my public statement that I will never work with you again. Any future articles featuring my name or likeness are done so without my consent.
