This season lasted almost 2 months. Visit after visit, we walked into those appointments hopeful, thinking this would be the day we got answers. Instead, we kept leaving with more questions. Hearing doctors throw around possible names and conditions for our unborn son was crushing. I tried to stay strong for my wife, but inside I was wrecked. The anxiety showed up on my hands as stress bumps. I was juggling work, and on top of that I was trying to get property so we could build a home now that baby number 2 is on the way. One day I just stopped and prayed. I told God, “If the seller comes back with this number, I’ll know it’s from You and we’ll buy it.” At the same time I was praying, “Please let our son be healthy. Cover my wife. Let what the doctors are saying not be true. And if it is true, then give us all the tools to handle it…” I laid it all out. That same day everything changed. Every test came back normal. We found out we’re having a BOY. And when I got home, the seller messaged me with the exact number I had prayed for. I never told him that price. Not once.
