I wanted to take time and intentionally celebrate this accomplishment, In a world where secularism is everywhere, you really gotta lock in lol. Throughout this journey the most important lesson Ive learned is, you’re going to keep failing until you lean on God to help you pass. I’ve taken “abstinence” vows before, and it was all fine and dandy until I was tempted…Growth is OVERCOMING adversity, not avoiding it. I knew this time I was done playing with my own potential, and done playing with the promises I made to God. However, don’t let ANYONE make you feel bad about your past, it’s a journey. When you run a cup of coffee under a faucet it doesn’t turn to water instantly. I’m proud of myself & of you no matter where we are in life, but Instead of saying one day… let today be day one. Just because you prayed for it, doesn't mean God will give it to you....not yet at least. Sometimes our prayers will destroy us if God answered them on our time. 2024 was a year of pruning, thankful God was able to cut off what's dead in order for something new to grow.
