Insalata pantesca: come dovrebbe essere una bella insalata di patate! 🔻INGREDIENTI🔻 700/800 g patate 1 cipolla rossa grande 2 cucchiai aceto 100 g olive 500 g pomodorini 2 cucchiai capperi (meglio se di Pantelleria) Origano Basilico Sale Olio evo 🔻PROCEDIMENTO🔻 Cuocete le patate: potete lessarle in acqua salata oppure avvolgerle in un foglio di alluminio e cuocerle in forno o in friggitrice ad aria a 200 °C per circa 30 minuti, fino a quando saranno morbide. Affettate finemente la cipolla rossa e mettetela in una ciotola con l’aceto. Lasciatela marinare per circa 10 minuti, in modo che perda il gusto troppo pungente. Tagliate le patate a tocchetti regolari e aggiungetele alla ciotola con la cipolla marinata. Unite i pomodorini tagliati a metà, le olive denocciolate, i capperi ben dissalati, un pizzico abbondante di origano e qualche foglia di basilico spezzettata a mano. Regolate di sale e condite con un filo generoso di olio extravergine d’oliva. Mescolate bene tutti gli ingredienti. I never expected the reel I posted about painting over the old mural to blow up like it did, let alone cause so much uproar. Some people were upset, others totally understood the change. Either way, it sparked a lot more attention than I ever imagined. Here’s the finished piece: a bright and playful mural designed specifically for the elementary students who walk these halls every day. The previous mural was up for 22 years (correct me if I’m wrong on that). It was a great mural, it just no longer reflected the age or energy of the students here now. This new mural was never about trying to look better than the old one. It’s not a competition. They are two completely different murals, created for two completely different eras. This is simply a new chapter for the space. At the center is YOU ARE, which carries a special double meaning: 💛 YOU ARE strong, joyful, brave, kind… 💛 At HSES YOU ARE the reason we are here It’s filled with motivational words, fun silhouettes, and little details to keep young eyes engaged. There’s even still a nod to music for those who were worried about that part. 😉 At the end of the day, I’m just grateful to help create something that reflects the students now and gives them something positive to see every day.
