✨The Adobe Project Renovation: Interior & Exterior Design Concepts!✨ I’m excited to be staying true to this Adobe/Spanish style home with our new design! Here’s the plan: EXTERIOR DESIGN: ✅ White stucco siding ✅ Terracotta tile roof ✅ Paved walkway ✅ Dryscaping ✅ Wrought iron gate & fixtures ✅ Courtyard ✅ Rustic wood door INTERIOR DESIGN: ✅ Saltillo tile flooring ✅ White cabinetry ✅ Wrought iron hardware & fixtures ✅ Aged brass faucets ✅ Woven light fixture ✅ Dark wood doors, shelves, & accents ✅ Decorative & Zellige tiles ✅ Arched walkways & range hood For our layout, we are going with Option B from the part 1 video, with a few minor adjustments. LAYOUT PRIORITIES/CHANGES: ✅ Add second bathroom with full tub ✅ Enlarge first bedroom & bathroom to make a primary suite ✅ Close off bathroom access through kitchen ✅ Adding formal dining nook in kitchen ❌ Losing hall linen closet ❌ Losing “back door access” (this home sits on the corner so the “backyard” is actually on the side of the house. The existing back door leads to the detached garage and 2 apartment units.) It's a little rough around the edges but it has so much potential!
